What does “Hardened I.T.” mean?

In the context of IT (Information Technology), a hardened system is one that has been secured.  Unnecessary functions or services have been removed which both simplifies the system as well as removes possible vulnerabilities.  In the same way, your entire IT Infrastructure can be secured and have unnecessary functions or components removed.  Therefore, “Hardening” your IT Infrastructure.  When you think of a hardened system, you think secure, reliable, simple, and low maintenance.  That is our goal for your IT Infrastructure.  We start with an overall network systems assessment.  From there we make recommendations on how you can “harden” your IT Infrastructure.
